Interstitium

Between every cell of the body runs a quiet ocean. The interstitium — only recently mapped, long intuited — is the connective field through which every system speaks with every other. It is the chamber of relationship at the tissue level: the lymph, the fascia, the slow lattice that lets the whole body act as one body.

The same pattern repeats outside the skin. In an organisation, the interstitium is the white space between meetings, the unspoken trust between roles, the calls returned at human speed. When this layer congeals, the body and the company stiffen in identical ways — and the symptom shows up far from the cause.

The practice here is hydration in the widest sense: water, walking, soft tissue, soft conversation, the warmth of a room where flow is allowed to return. Coherence at this layer is felt as ease — the sense that the parts can speak.
